I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Rachel, I’m a licensed clinical social worker and addiction specialist in Morehead City, NC. I use a person-centered relational approach to therapy, meaning I want to get to know you for you and develop a trusting therapeutic relationship. I want to know about your family, pets, hobbies, and goals - anything that makes you, you! This allows us to collaborate and create a personalized plan for you and your treatment with consideration to everything that makes you who you are! I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. As a therapist, I value holistic care and find it important to explore the various areas of your life that could be causing distress. Majority of my training is directed towards the treatment of PTSD, specifically sexual trauma and military combat trauma. I have also received training in treating substance use disorders and eating disorders. I truly believe that growth stems from authentic and genuine relationships with others, and I feel honored that I get to create this for those I serve.
