About

Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm proud of you already for thinking about improving your mental health just by looking at my profile. Beginning therapy can be daunting, but I'm here to help you along your unique journey. I enjoy meeting folks from all walks of life. I primarily see adults, but have occasionally treated older adolescents on a case by case basis. I have experience in diagnosing and treating Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Mood Disorders, and more. Therapy is rarely a "one size fits all" experience; together we'll figure out what's going wrong, what's going right, and how to help you to feel equipped to cope with life's many challenges.

Since beginning my career, I've had various roles within the field of mental health, including crisis intervention, counseling in community mental health and private practice settings, and providing supervision to other counselors. All of these roles have contributed invaluably to my development as a counselor and how I can better serve the clients I see.

One of the most essential components to success is the relationship built between client and therapist. I strive to create a relaxed and inviting space in which clients can share their story at their own pace. Walking alongside my clients through difficult moments is something I am continually humbled and honored to do; I hope to do the same for you.
