About

Reaching out for support can be the first step to making a positive change in your life. Past trauma, current life stressors, social climate, and existential burdens can all impact our authenticity and ability to engage with life in a meaningful way. Therapy is a collaborative journey to identify and relieve emotional distress through holistic consideration, strategic problem-solving, and strength-based actions. Your experience is unique, and I hope to create a safe space for you to share with me your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that cause pain and concern in your life.

I am a trauma-focused therapist, which means that I use respect, empathy, and compassion in all aspects of the therapeutic process. I assess situations through a psychodynamic and attachment perspective, where I believe your childhood experiences and past relationships may have influenced your present way of being.

I work with most diagnoses and specialize in treatments that help those who have experienced trauma, including childhood abuse/neglect, traumatic life events, and violence. I support human rights including diversity, equity, and inclusion, and welcome all ages, cultures, ethnicities, abilities, genders, and sexualities.
