Feeling safe to express yourself in a nonjudgmental environment is an important piece to therapy. Finding your therapist is a difficult personal decision. Your therapist should encourage you to explore your honest thoughts and feelings, since the exploration can help lead to life changes. Your therapist should encourage self exploration and assist in identifying beneficial life changes, as well as ways to change negative outlooks on life. While academics and credentials are important, therapy revolves around an intimate relationship, and the relationship is the key to making changes. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering a welcoming environment to clients. I am currently working with individual adults and couples. I have experience working with different life stresses, including issues with work, family, and friends, as well as depression, and anxiety.
