Hi! My name is Racheal Bergmann and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) for the State of Wisconsin with 11 years of professional work experience working with clients in secure facilities and in hospital settings. I have served as a social work and substance use counseling program instructor. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and enjoy tailoring the needs of the client with a treatment modality and plan that will best suit their individual preferences. I have experience using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and have experience working with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. In addition, I utilize Motivational Interviewing as my guide in how to best work with you to accomplish your goals. My previous career was in banking and finance, and I enjoyed helping customers plan for their financial needs and futures. In the course of my work in this field, I realized I enjoyed building rapport with my customers, helping them with their immediate needs, and also helping them plan for the future, in some situations.
