Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, a challenging relationship, or loss of a sense of self? Do you put yourself and your needs at the bottom of the list? Do you feel defeated, helpless, guilty, or overwhelmed? Are you spreading yourself so thin that you feel inadequate in every area of your life? Working on setting boundaries is healthy, you cannot be everything to everyone, and nothing to yourself. My approach to therapy draws from established psychological theories and practices that promote long-term well-being and personal growth. I offer several modalities based on each individuals needs and goals. Some of these include; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe heavily in helping clients learn healthy coping skills to manage everyday and major life stressors. I aim to prioritize women who are suffering from current or past intimate partner violence. By working together we can find ways for you to live a liberated life and find your best self. “Always remember the power of the simple smile, a helping hand, a listening ear, and a kind word.” – Don Ritchie.
