About

In life, work, and relationships, do you ever find yourself feeling as if something is missing? Sitting with such a feeling is difficult, and, in our work together, I will use a blend of honesty and compassion to explore those feelings with you. My approach is warm, engaging, direct, and depth-oriented. As a therapist, I want to meet you where you are and to know you and how you think about yourself in the world. We will create a space to collaboratively discover how certain beliefs may be misperceptions or adding to the sense of limitation that you feel.

I will be curious with you about how early life experiences may be contributing to how you see yourself, others, and the world. Together we will discover those things that are out of your awareness and help you recognize how they contribute to certain problematic patterns in your life. With everyone with whom I work, I hope therapy brings increased awareness

While I see people with a range of difficulties, I have a special focus in working with people struggling in intimate relationships and in helping to overcome issues of toxic shame and masculinity as well as working through issues of trauma. I have experience working with men who are struggling with intimacy and communication.
