About

I work with create space for BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx, LGBTQ+ (diverse) clients to process their experiences and identify ways to advocate for themselves and manage the impact of their experiences. We'll identify cognitive, emotional and behavioral patterns and your strengths as we work to alleviate or eliminate sex or intimacy related challenges, identity related distress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, pressure or overwhelm, discrimination or privilege, shame, transitions, self-esteem and more. We'll work to manage or reduce the adverse impact relationships and experiences on current cognitive, emotional and behavioural functioning.

I will work with you to deconstruct problematic stories and experiences, while encouraging the separation of yourself from your problems; you are more than your issue. I use CBT, DBT, Narrative and Adlerian Therapy to increase aware, distress tolerance, effective communication and regulation in order to decrease or eliminate symptoms and distress.

You'll leave each session with a sense of progress, accomplishment, and insight into your cognitive patterns, mental health & behavioral goals. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. From a perspective of individualization, respect, and gratitude, we will move you toward self-actualization, hope, self-compassion, emotional safety and authenticity.
