About

It takes courage to ask for help in difficult times, but we all need support at different moments in our lives. I have been working with children, adolescents and families for more than a decade. I have worked as a psychologist in different clinical settings including University counseling centers, community mental health services, Pediatric clinics, as well as private practice. I am bilingual in Spanish.

I specialize in helping children, adolescents, adults and families who are dealing with a variety of issues such as, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mourning and separation. Immigration, trauma, transgenerational trauma and identity have been particular areas of interest. On this topic, I have been invited to present at conferences and lectures.

I understand psychotherapy as a private and safe space to reflect on issues that may be affecting you and make the changes needed to feel better with yourself, family, and other relationships.
