About
I am a Certified Alcohol and other Drug Counselor (CADC) and earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northeastern Illinois University. I have 14 years of mental health experience that ranges all available levels of care. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and OCD. I am trained in CBT, DBT, and ERP but include facets of Reality Therapy into my practice. I believe that if we attempt to seek out “influence” rather than “control” in our lives, it can separate us from thoughts that might have been barriers to behavioral change. I believe through therapy we can bring options to our daily lives. I look forward to exploring those options with you!
