Dr. Stanik completed her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology in 1995. Since then she has provided neuropsychological and psychological assessments throughout the state of Wisconsin. She has worked in Neurorehabilitation facilities providing assessment and therapeutic interventions to patients who sustained traumatic brain injury or other organic sequalae. Her experience in brain injury recovery includes working with persons recovering from coma, acute, sub-acute, post-acute, acute day treatment and post-acute day treatment. She has been in private practice for 20 years as a clinical psychologist. She has testified at Workers compensation, forensic and guardianship cases, along with issues of permanent brain damage or disability (Expert Witness or Treating Psychologist). She also consults at area psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, and sub-acute facilities regarding complex diagnosis, dementia, and organic or neurodevelopmental conditions. Additionally, she conducts assessment for International adoption and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Within the last 10 years she has been assessing and treating persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder especially those with High Functioning Autism as well as adults who have received a diagnosis later in life.
