Hello! My name is Trish and I am a New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. It has been my privilege to assist people struggling with severe mental illness such as depression and anxiety, as well as those who may be overwhelmed by everyday challenges such as family conflict, grief, and life and career changes. My counseling style is to operate first from a place of understanding and acceptance. Change occurs when there is a connection; a recognition that you are heard, understood and not alone. From there we can explore how to create your best life. I find that often our thoughts affect how we feel which affect what we do, so cognitive behavioral therapy may be helpful. I also believe that people generally have many strengths, so tapping into those to help solve current challenges may be a way to go. Overall I will be listening to you, and together we can decide on the counseling path to take. It's not easy asking for help and I commend you for taking action. I am hopeful to assist you in reaching your best life in any way I can.
