Hi! My name is Misha Byers. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I love engaging with people and have a "helper" personality. Before becoming a therapist I worked in the emergency medical field. My clinical work focuses on helping clients with communication, self-esteem issues, boundary development, anxiety, depression, trauma, and many other life difficulties. My therapy approach is eclectic. I want to gather information from my client and use the therapy techniques that will provide the best outcome for the client. My experience and communication style are tailored toward working with adults. I have experience assisting with many issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, communication, relationship issues, trauma, and grief. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for my clients to express themselves. I want my clients to feel like they are heard, and that their feelings are valid. I aim to build a trusting relationship with each of my clients. It is important that my clients feel comfortable sharing their goals, concerns, and fears.
