About

My ideal clients actively collaborate in a non-judgmental, respectful, compassionate, therapeutic setting to uncover and process unresolved trauma that prevents them from realizing their goals. We discuss the benefits and risks of therapy, as we develop workable solutions that are tailored to clients' personalities, and use empirical assessments to monitor clients' progress toward personal goals, increased self-awareness, and self-actualization.

Developing an attuned relationship is the primary task. I get a sense of clients' needs by using evidence-based assessments and a person-centered, active listening approach. I collaborate with clients to develop change strategies, tools that foster self-awareness, empower, promote growth, self-efficacy and self-esteem.

Clients are the experts on themselves. My job is to listen to their concerns, explore how these concerns impact their lives, collaborate on empirically-based strategies to mitigate stressors, using clients' own insights and strengths to facilitate the healing process.
