In-person & telehealth appointments available within 2 weeks! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and RN with 40 years of experience focusing on psychiatric nursing. Located in Darlington, SC, I’m in network with Blue Cross and offer a sliding scale. I offer a comprehensive approach and view your situation differently than most counselors. I co-manage my practice with an M.D. and see all ages 2 - 80 years old. I studied exercise and nutrition and use this background to promote a healthy mind and body in my sessions. I excel at assessments and diagnosing emotional and behavioral issues. Areas of interest: ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Depression, Women's Issues and PTSD. I am solution focused, look at the big picture and help patients set clear realistic goals. I am academically trained and have authority to assess and treat serious problems as determined by the State Board. I am certified to complete disability reports and assessments. I am a LPC Supervisor Candidate. I have taught college level psychiatric courses and done inpatient psychiatry. I am a member of internationally known honor society of Sigma Theta Tau. I am involved in the community and serve on the City Planning Commission and the advisory council at Rubicon.
