The climb towards resiliency and wholeness can prove to be steep. Beginning that process in the midst of painful life circumstances and finding a therapist who is well equipped, and a good fit to make that climb with you, can prove to be another difficult endeavor. My clients often seek counseling burdened by various challenging feelings of shame, anxiety, and depression and I seek to provide a warm and connective space where we can address these concerns sensitively. I work with adults, often LGBTQIA+ identifying, to develop balance and peace within their lives and relationships. If you find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, challenges rooted in family of origin, a cruel inner critic, or are recovering from high control spirituality/religion, then we may be a good fit. I am trained in EMDR and blend DBT, Attachment Theory, Self-compassion, and Internal Family Systems informed care in my practice to address your needs. I will welcome you with warmth, a bit of humor, and a whole lot of compassion. Together we will gain greater awareness and understanding of the patterns in life that do not serve you and, through curiosity and compassion, I will support you as you begin to move towards a life that is congruent with your values and in alignment with your higher self.
