About

I am a NY and CT state licensed psychologist with private practices in Manhattan and Fairfield County. I specialize in therapy for children, adolescents, and younger adults suffering from past traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. My intention is to create a safe and compassionate space to help individuals better understand and overcome blocks in self-acceptance and interpersonal difficulties. I also help people set and achieve goals related to academic or professional development. Former clients have found me to be perceptive, helpful, and warm.

I draw from a variety of disciplines, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), family and group therapy, as well as attachment and mentalization-based treatment. I also conduct psychological testing for academic difficulties and diagnostic clarification. I am not a one-size-fits all provider and tailor my approach based on individual needs.

I hold a Ph.D. from Long Island University and a B.A. with honors from Columbia University. I completed my clinical internship and postdoctoral training in the Mount Sinai health system. I am a former supervising psychologist at Mount Sinai West and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine.
