About

Are you preparing for or in the process of becoming a parent? Are you noticing difficulties adjusting to life as a new mother or parent? The journey towards parenthood can bring about a number of emotions and experiences that may feel unexpected. Whether you are going through infertility treatments, grieving a pregnancy/stillbirth/infant loss, processing unexpected birthing experiences, or adjusting to a new identity and life as a mom or parent, I am here with a compassionate, empathic, and validating approach to help you navigate what can feel like a new life and new self. There is hope and you are not alone.

I am certified in perinatal mental health and have over a decade of experience in several research-based therapies shown to be effective for helping new parents and families navigate surprising and unexpected experiences for a range of concerns, from distress associated with the process of becoming a parent to adjusting to life with a new baby.

The journey to and within parenthood is challenging for everyone. Society creates messages that we have to have it "all together," especially as parents and mothers. We will create a space that is truly come as you are without expectation of what "it should be." I will meet you where you are and be with you the whole way.
