About

Navigating grief and healing from trauma can feel utterly overwhelming. In grief, burdens, unresolved concerns, and newfound questions about our own purpose emerge in the wake of our losses. The weight of anxiety intensifies, casting doubt on our sense of self and triggering a quest for peace amidst the turmoil. Grief serves as a profound entry point to our souls, demanding introspection into our selves, relationships, and beliefs. Healing from trauma requires a trusted, experienced guide, to help unravel the wounds of the past, and help guide healing into the future.

I am a certified grief counseling specialist utilizing many therapies, including Internal Family Systems and Complicated Grief Therapy. Grief propels us; it moves us to a place where introspection meets previously held beliefs and we have the unique opportunity to walk into a new future with new insight and awareness.

As resilient beings, we are naturally wired to adapt to loss. But sometimes we need help putting the pieces together and working through the thoughts and feelings we have as a result of loss and trauma. It oftentimes requires a long hard exploration inward; and this is where healing begins, and is possible.
