Using a non-judgmental, empathic, and warm approach, I like to meet each client where they are at and utilize the modalities that best suit their needs. I believe that by creating a safe space to feel heard and understood, the therapeutic relationship can foster increased self-awareness, acceptance, and personal growth in many ways. I enjoy working with women, including college and graduate students. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, body image/self-esteem issues, relationship issues/insecure attachment, managing life stressors and transitions, as well as alcohol misuse and sobriety/sober curiosity. My approach to therapy is eclectic, compassionate, and collaborative. I have experience with evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Attachment-Based Psychotherapy. I enjoy practicing from a Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach with self acceptance and empowerment being the goal. I take a holistic approach and consider a range of interventions that can assist with the best therapeutic outcomes. I enjoy working with women looking for compassionate support around dating, relationships and heartbreak. I also help clients explore their relationship with alcohol, specifically the maladaptive use of it to cope with various life stressors.
