About

I'm very passionate about working with those who have been blindsided by grief, trauma, and transition issues. I believe psychological pain dwells within the brain, nervous system, and the body so elements of effective treatment must include them as well. I don't think any single approach to therapy will be enough so I use my understanding of several types of approaches to aid in collaborating with clients to best address their concerns and aspirations. I work with adult individuals and couples.

Meaningful emotional healing occurs from the inside out. So our work together will include identifying emotional wounds as well as personal strengths and developing workable strategies for coping with internal turbulence as well as external circumstances in practical ways that accurately reflect your values and goals.

My approach with clients is equal parts compassion, empathy, and confidence. Compassion for the emotional pain endured; empathy for the difficult circumstances faced amid life's disorienting seachanges; confidence in clients' ability to refocus, regroup, and fight to live their best lives.
