Life inevitably will present challenges and along with them, opportunities for personal growth. As a therapist, I assist individuals in locating their internal compass, so that they can better navigate through life's obstacles. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgemental environment, where I work collaboratively with the client to discover their strengths, along with what may be holding them back from achieving their full emotional and interpersonal potential. Through this therapeutic process, clients can gain insight and move forward in new and more fulfilling ways. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist, who completed my undergraduate studies at Tulane University and earned my doctoral degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. My prior employment at a VA hospital allowed me to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, with an emphasis on trauma and stress related conditions. I have solid clinical training in both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic methods, allowing me to tailor my therapeutic approach to a client's specific presenting problem and treatment goals. My current private practice focuses on providing individual therapy to adults.
