About

I moved to Alaska three years ago sight unseen. Prior to my move here, I lived in GA, SC, and FL. I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2017. Since graduating with my masters, I have worked with a variety of populations in outpatient, inpatient, and correctional settings. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with severe mental illnesses, identity issues, trauma, and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy is direct. I seek to understand perspectives that are different than my own, and welcome clients of all races, genders, religions, and political viewpoints. I meet clients where they are and look forward to building a relationship that leads to healing. I have specialized training in motivational interviewing, CBT, and ACT.

Clients can expect to leave each session with a deeper understanding of themselves, practical coping skills tailored to their unique needs, and a clear path toward achieving their mental health goals. Through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, clients will build the tools necessary for healing and long-term well-being.
