About

Our lives are in chaotic transition. It takes strength to seek guidance through therapeutic relationships that create harmony and balance. My counseling philosophy is person-centered, individualized to meet client needs as we develop goals to create new opportunities for success. I focus on clients with food addiction, binge eating, depression, anxiety, body image, self-esteem and interventions for major life changing events. I counsel clients in all aspects of mental health issues, especially those who struggle with anxiety, depression, obesity and weight. I am passionate about helping clients.

I develop comprehensive treatment plans to help clients based on their uniqueness, motivation, and goals. I develop the necessary rapport with my clients by taking the time to identify their struggles and assist them in finding solutions that fit their needs. Obesity and weight reduction is a challenge both physically, mentally, and emotionally.

My specialization is working with obesity, bariatric surgery patients, and obesity-related eating disorders. I am an Obesity Action Coalition Advocate, and Volunteer my time with several support groups online and in the local area.
