Nancy M. Winston is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2007. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University for undergraduate and graduate education. Nancy has a passion for helping people as life can be challenging and tough. Making the first step toward healing can be difficult. Nancy works with individuals, couples, and families to help them to move from stuck areas in their life. Her experience has afforded her to ability to address issues in parenting, sexual trauma, abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and ADHD. Nancy also works with individuals experiencing grief/bereavement, women issues, sexual orientation, dealing with life transitions, marital and pre-marital difficulties. The therapeutic techniques Nancy uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT,) Trauma-Focused CBT, trauma-informed, client-centered, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT,) and Gottman Relationship Counseling. Nancy is a Christian and provides what her clients need by meeting them where they are in their life.
