Most challenges we face as humans are "normal" as opposed to there being something "wrong" with us. However, we can often feel alone and overwhelmed when facing problems. Talking to a caring person can make a difference. I believe it helps to have an objective, knowledgeable and wise coach to help you find your way. I like to use analogies and work as a team with a client. I describe myself as a "general practitioner" and therefore most often see clients struggling with depression and/or anxiety. I am interested in trauma (defined broadly as anything life altering for which we are ill-prepared to deal with) and am trained in EMDR. I grew up in Colombia, South America until I was 17 and can speak fluent Spanish. I have been in private practice since 2003.
