Nancy Barich, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in the Princeton area. She is a safe, supportive partner with college students, adults, couples, & families. She treats a range of issues that get in the way of truly enjoying life including anxiety, depression, sexual/gender identity, family conflict, grief and loss, & transitions due to major life changes. Nancy has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, & graduate degrees from Columbia Teachers College and Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work. Nancy also helps lead a global Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) organization.

Nancy grounds her practice in psychodynamic theory, Bowen Family Systems theory, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy among other modalities. She has particular expertise in supporting parents of kids of all ages & all the anxieties parents face today, college students, working with emerging adults beginning life on their own, and adults in life transition.

Nancy creates a compassionate & non-judgmental space to help clients better understand themselves by gaining insight into their personal patterns & helping them identify goals for change. She wants clients to feel validated and is deeply curious about the way we talk to and about ourselves, & the way we can ultimately live a more joyful & empowered life.
