My general approach with working with clients for over 20 years is highly individualized, relational and strengthen based. I believe most clients simply need an environment to communicate, process feelings and gain insight in order to create a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I offer individual therapy for adolescents, adults and family therapy. My passion has always been treating eating disorders and the underlying causes such as depression and anxiety. Another clinical passion and area of focus has been assisting women and mothers with identity development and navigating life transitions. I believe the therapeutic process is a collaborative relationship and work with my clients to utilize a combination of evidence based, therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Reprocessing Therapy, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems and CBT, DBT principles.I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.I hope to bring my experienced process to you. I seek to eliminate the suffering in silence or feelings of shame and allow time for working through a process of self discovery or loss and grief around what once was and guide individuals in exploring what can be achieved. I believe my process to be compassionate, respectful , goal directed, resulting in client empowerment and healing.
