Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I believe the foundation of living a truly fulfilling life comes from genuine and nurturing connection to others. As a therapist, my work consists of helping you find this type of connection through embracing vulnerability and increasing acceptance. Through our collaboration, we can gently and compassionately explore your needs, hopes, and fears while empowering you to utilize your strengths. Ultimately, you will arrive at a place of greater integration of all parts of yourself, while developing greater curiosity and understanding of the painful emotions and challenges that arise throughout life. My approach is empathic and nonjudgmental. I have experience working with a diverse array of clients and situations. I offer individual and family therapy, and utilize a relational approach in my practice. I have extensive experience working with families in distress as well as with trauma. I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Level 2. I firmly stand for social justice and my practice is rooted in the values of anti-oppression. Areas of my interest and expertise include: exploring identity, concerns of immigrants/children of immigrants, intergenerational trauma, intersectional identities, divorce, relationships, infertility/loss, parenting, postpartum, eating disorders, and complex trauma.
