I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (P6336) with extensive work with clients suffering from acute mental health traumas. My degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and family therapy has helped me to better understand developmental and circumstantial difficulties faced by various ages, systems and socioeconomic status groups. I found my passion in the mental health field and use my life experience and training to help my clients finally reach their goals. I have extensive experience working with at-risk youth ages 5+ with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. I have experience working with disorders such as ADHD, PTSD, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Behavioral issues, and Self-Esteem. I have always desired to give other's a voice and space to reduce out internalization of feelings and emotions. I work hard to establish a safe space for my clients to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe space.
