Being Native Hawaiian born & raised on Oahu island, have experience working with Hawaii's Unique Multicultural population. According to a recent study by Krogstad (2015) Hawaii is home to the Nation's Largest Multiracial American population. This means, 1 out of 4 individuals (24%) identify with multiracial or multicultural ancestry. Therefore, to provide "culturally sensitive" therapeutic services, is to, provide "competent" therapeutic services. Allow me to provide compassionate person-centered therapy within an empathetic environment. Focus is geared towards showing Lokomaika'i (Kindness) to one's self.
