About

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I received my Master's in Social Work and Bachelor's in Communication at UT Arlington. As a social worker, I've worked in leadership at a large non-profit domestic violence (DV) agency, as an expert witness, researcher, and group counselor. I've provided group and individual therapy for perpetrators of DV, survivors of sexual abuse, and survivors of family violence. I am experienced in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. I am passionate about helping others find peace and purpose by working through their pain.

During our first session, we will discuss some background information about you, what brings you to therapy, and what you would like to achieve. We will move at a pace you are comfortable with.

This role is personal to me. Not only have I professionally researched, trained, and worked with clients experiencing extreme duress and trauma - I have been there, too. I understand what it's like to be in a vulnerable position trying to find someone who can help. I also incorporate humility and humor.
