As a therapist, I'm expressive, casual, and collaborative. I work well with clients who are looking for more engagement and feedback from their therapist. I'm passionate about reducing the hierarchy in the room and creating a non-judgmental space to explore your experiences. When our work has concluded, you will have found a deeper awareness of both the emotional and physical experiences in your body, be able to articulate them, and gravitate towards that which resources you rather than that which depletes you. I was trained psycho-dynamically and am currently in ongoing training as a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. My work is also shaped by organizers and scholars in decolonization, marxism, pan-africanism, and disability justice. I am passionate about working with queer, trans, polyamorous, land defense, and aging communities. I see individuals and am seeking new clients currently. I offer a free 20 minute consult to answer questions you have and determine if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from some of you, and am wishing all of you well on your therapeutic journey.
