I help parents and kids learn to speak the same language, so that parents can respond to challenging behaviors in an effective and confident way, and kids feel safe, supported, and understood. Nobody heals or changes in a vacuum, and so I focus on building supports throughout the systems that my clients live in. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help kids learn the tools to regulate their emotions, and PCIT, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, and mindfulness techniques in order to help them establish and nurture healthy relationships with themselves and others. I also offer cognitive (IQ) testing, as well as testing for AD/HD and learning disabilities. Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have about therapy in general, or my work specifically. I look forward to hearing from you!
