About

I honor the opportunity clients provide during their most vulnerable state by providing a warm, nonjudgmental and affirming space. I believe in the power of connection when building a therapeutic relationship with children, teen and adult clients. I strive to empower clients by assisting them with creating insight of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors contributing to current emotional and behavioral symptoms while also supporting the development of holistic coping skills. I have experience in providing therapy in areas of anxiety, depression, teen issues, women’s issues, and life transitions.

I primarily use a person-centered and strengths-based approach with a combination of theories and modalities to tailor therapeutic approaches to individual clients during sessions. I am passionate about social justice and mental and emotional health. I provide a bilingual and bicultural therapeutic environment for adolescents and adults.

When working with clients, I focus on what he/she/they can do regardless of the adversities of life. As necessary, I intentionally incorporate multiculturalism, and consideration of social justice issues as a form of empowerment to highlight the clients' strengths while working towards emotional healing.
