I see counseling as a process in which you the client, and I, the Counselor have come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define presenting issues, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic and collaborating fashion toward realizing those goals. I focus on individuals such as children, adolescents, and adults that have issues dealing with but are not limited to trauma, post-partum depression, infertility, miscarriages, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, behavioral issues, parenting strategies, life and social skills, and adjustment disorders. I focus on clients that meet criteria appropriate for outpatient services. In addition, to being licensed as a LPC in Mississippi, I hold a national certification as a National Certified Counselor(NCC#123456), licensed in GA, licensed in LA, and as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.
