These are hard times. If you are struggling within yourself, within relationships, or within this world at this moment in time, I am here to help. People who reach out to me are often feeling down or depressed, stressed, lost, disconnected from themselves or others, or feeling burdened by the many worries (both “normal” and pathological). They want to feel better, function better, and gain insights about themselves. Sometimes they want skills to learn to deal with difficulties more effectively. My areas of expertise include: depression & mood disorders, anxiety, loss & bereavement, unhelpful behaviors, identity concerns, and phase-of-life transitions. I work with individual adults in a collaborative way that is focused on what you need. My approach is informed by exploring both the social context and personal & familial patterns of your life. I work hard to cultivate a space where you can enter with the many complicated parts of who you are and your experience of suffering, and be met with compassion, affirmation, and curiosity. Please note that I do request a brief consultation call to assess if we may be a good fit.
