I believe that we are all our own best experts and advocates. As such, I approach the therapeutic relationship from a place of deep respect for client’s needs, strengths, and personal goals. As a clinician, I prioritize bringing a calm, peaceful environment to sessions – by instilling a sense of safety and unconditional acceptance, we can work collaboratively through life’s challenges. I have experience working with adults and older adults with a variety of care needs. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, aging, LGBTQ issues, substance use, and caregiver support. I am an advocate for trauma-informed care. I aim to help clients find safety and security inside and outside of sessions by teaching coping and acceptance skills and increasing feelings of self-efficacy for client growth and self-actualization. Therapy is a personal journey – one that clients choose freely. I am here to help untangle and identify feelings to provide insight and work toward meaningful change. I want to help you realize your power and resilience on the journey to becoming your highest self.
