About

People seek out therapy for a wide variety of reasons. Sometimes, the issues they are struggling with start out minor and they want help before the issues become too difficult. On other occasions, the problems have become unmanageable and dealing with them alone becomes too daunting. Some of those personal issues include anxiety, depression, stress at home, school and/or work, emotional dysregulation, among others. Therapy can help get a handle on any of those issues to help people carry on with every day living in a more productive fashion. View 4 Photos

When working with my clients, I find my style naturally gravitates towards using a combination of mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I find mindfulness helpful in helping my clients stay focused on their goals while CBT helps them change the cognitive processes that are interfering with reaching those goals.

Every person I meet with is unique. Therefore, my approach for each client is unique. My focus is on using empathy and trust-building to develop a strong therapeutic relationship. Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss the process of therapy so that we can make tomorrow better than today.
