For more than 30 years I have worked with adults that experience psychosis, depression, anxiety and changes to life associated with aging. The settings I have worked in include providing community based intensive case management services to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses, providing outpatient mental health counseling, work as a geriatric social worker, and work on mobile crisis services team. If you struggle with depression, anxiety, psychosis, or transitions in aging, I would be glad to discuss your needs and how we might be able to work together to address your needs. Therapy is collaborative work that considers life experiences, patterns, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped and influence your ways of being in the world. I am committed to providing a safe and accepting therapeutic environment that facilitates growth, insight, and change. I use approaches that include humanistic, MI, CBT and Prob. Solving Therapy Treatment typically produces benefits over time but may challenge your equilibrium as we explore areas of vulnerability in addressing your concerns. However, as you commit yourself to work through your vulnerable issues and build upon your strengths it is likely that you will see improvements throughout our work together and in the future.
