About

I primarily treat clients who struggle with eating disorders, body image concerns, and self-esteem. I often times see clients who struggle with deeper parts of themselves, such as trauma, relationship issues, gender/sexuality issues, etc., that manifest in their relationship with food and/or self. I want to support clients in both understanding how deeper issues of self can affect external behaviors, as well as how to create more adaptive and sustainable coping. I have worked in all levels of eating disorder treatment and have worked with many co-occuring diagnoses.

I use a holistic approach and provide individualized treatment for each client and their unique needs. I am often known for my ability to "keep it real" and challenge one's maladaptive thoughts/behaviors, while at the same time using light-heartedness and humor to create balance and sustain a helpful therapeutic relationship.

Are you struggling with your relationship with food, exercise or your body, but not sure how to get unstuck? Whether you are interested, nervous, curious, have questions, or all of the above, feel free to contact me (email is best). I would be happy to find a time to get in touch and allow you to survey if you think we could be a good fit!
