About

My ideal client is a young adult who is working on getting their life together. They are having a difficult time controlling their emotions and suffers with anxiety. Their goals are to get and keep a job, work on a career, and be more responsible. They are realizing that it is time to get it together. They are interested in learning coping skills and working on past traumatic events that they believe to be in the way of learning new ways. I will work with my clients to unfold what is brought into the room and set the pace that feels most supportive to them—together, creating a safe and supportive space as we address needs and goals. As a therapist, I practice from a client-centered approach. Together we explore current life challenges, past experiences, and set goals based on your priorities. I also teach clients coping skills and mindfulness to use in the time between our sessions.

Providing my clients with unconditional positive regard is important in our work together. Meaning that, no matter what, I offer every client I work with my acceptance and support. Regardless of what they are currently going through or have been through, I always strive to provide a sense of safety for clients to explore their challenges and barriers.
