About

Individuals seeking psychotherapy are often at a critical moment in life when their inner pain and struggles are no longer tolerable and must be acknowledged, explored, and understood. Within the therapeutic relationship, the deepest and often unknown parts of ourselves can be gradually brought to light. While relief from specific disorders and symptoms is an initial goal of psychotherapy, devoted attention to the process of coming to know and accept oneself and experience a renewed sense of meaning and purpose is the ultimate aim, one that continues to unfold over a lifetime.

My work as a Jungian psychoanalyst is to enter into dialogue and reflection with a person, attending to emergence of the true self. This process involves focusing on the therapeutic relationship, working through inner conflicts, and exploring dreams and other manifestations of the unconscious.

I maintain a private practice in Memphis, TN, working primarily with adults and young adults in individual psychotherapy sessions. My practice also includes musicians, artists, poets, dancers, and writers who are drawn to the natural integration of artistic expression in their psychotherapy process.
