We all experience difficult moments in life, no matter who we are or where we come from, and sometimes it’s simply too hard to do it alone. We need somebody we can talk to and most importantly somebody who will listen. Michele is a solid place to turn in these moments. Offering a safe space for individuals to express their feelings, without judgment, discrimination, and/or repercussions from stigmatizing labels, allows the process of change to unfold naturally. With guidance and structure, we each have the ability to transform unhealthy coping strategies into healthier ones. She believes genuineness is the foundation in which the therapeutic relationship is built upon. She is affirming, inclusive, and an advocate for LGBTQ+ families, a leader for women and a strong supporter for those facing major life change who want support. The look of hope and accomplishment on my client's faces when they discover THEY can be successful in recovery never gets old!
