About

I have 25 years of successful experience providing mental health services in a variety of settings, treating different age groups with diverse needs. My approach is strength-based and solution-focused. I am skilled at utilizing many counseling techniques and I individualize treatment approaches according to the unique needs of the client, ensuring better outcomes. I understand that finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with is vital to the therapeutic relationship. This enables you to make lasting changes and resolve issues that may have been causing dysfunctional patterns in your life. I believe it's important to treat clients compassionately, respectfully, and without judgement.

As a therapist and a parent, I am well-aware of the difficult issues facing children and adolescents today. If you are concerned about your child who may be struggling with behavioral, social, or emotional issues, I can assist though a combination of play-therapy, talk-therapy, and behavioral interventions.

In addition to graduate training and experience, I am a member of International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF), graduate of Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, and Pediatric BTTI. I am a member of Trichotillomania Learning Center, am an Approved Clinical Supervisor, have extensive experience in play-therapy, adolescent, adult counseling, and Advanced Skills Training in DBT.
