About

It takes courage to address the loneliness, heartache, fear and confusion we face as humans. I offer space for a person to untangle their hurt and confusion and address their messy emotions. I believe our stories matter. Our life experiences shape us. No one escapes suffering. Life is hard. Everyone has experienced a broken heart and shattered dreams. Experiences of abuse, rejection, and trauma contort the soul. Our soul responds to self, God and others with these contorted relational patterns that connect or sabotage relationships. Soul contortions are addressed with compassion and respect as we journey towards restoration.

I am trained in a relational model of counseling that integrates various counseling theories. I work with a variety of clients including adults, couples, adolescents and families. My areas of focus include anxiety, grief, depression, shame, guilt, spirituality, sexual abuse, self-injury, body image, attachment, trauma and relational discord issues.

I have been married forty-four years. My husband and I have enjoyed raising our son and daughter who are now adults. I love oil painting, paddle boarding, cooking with friends and find great delight from a variety of pets. I have lived in the Orlando area over twenty years.
