About

First and foremost, thank you for visiting my page! I am a firm believer that we are all doing the best we can with the resources we are given. In addition, we are making decisions based off our reality at that time. Meeting my clients where they are at is a value I will always uphold. Taking the step to seek counseling is one to be proud of, and I am looking forward to navigating the uncertainty of this process together!

My experience in this field varies from settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private practice and outpatient substance abuse facility with a large mental health component. During my five years in the I have worked with adolescents, 12 to 18, and adults into older age. A person in environment approach and empowerment is what I am all about!

Building self-awareness is key! By creating a supportive environment with an open-minded approach we can break down challenging emotions, experiences and past traumas that have been shifting our lives and decision making. While working with individuals, couples and families the ultimate goal is to improve emotional regulation and well-being.
