I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice who enjoys working with a variety of people and needs. Whether you are seeking assistance with stress management, anxiety, depression, grief, life transition or career-related issues, it is my desire to help you develop insight and find satisfying resolution to your concerns. My approach is to first listen carefully to you to understand your needs and wishes. As your goals for change are identified, I will work with you to help you determine and initiate an appropriate plan for change to confidently move forward in your life. I have over 15 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals in inpatient and outpatient settings. I most enjoy working with adults in the private practice environment because I can work with people individually to help them achieve their desired personal wellness or career goals. My career history prior to becoming a counselor includes 20 years in the aviation industry and 3 years in public and private education. This diverse background has helped me to develop the necessary awareness and interpersonal skills to assist you in exploring your needs and pursuing appropriate solutions.
