My experience is that we all tend to want the same things - feeling good about ourselves, finding purpose in our lives, and having positive connection with others. I also believe we are our own worst enemies, and that sometimes we need support from outside our normal circles. My ideal client is willing to show up and participate honestly. I appreciate when clients can give me examples of how they're consciously working to have new experiences in their daily lives, actively creating positive change for themselves. My job is to help you learn to help yourself. I've helped countless teens and adults leave behind depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and family of origin baggage. I also empower parents, and work with people in addiction. My job is to help you 'keep it real' and develop new, healthy ways of living. I operate with an understanding that 'anything is possible.' I've been a client myself and understand the difficulty of asking for help. My past includes clinical levels of depression and anxiety, and I've been in recovery from addiction for 10 years. My job isn't to judge you, it's to meet you where you're at and be fully available as an ally in your quest for change.
