Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
As a trauma-informed (PCTI) therapist, I am heavily influenced by Viktor Frankl, a Nazi Concentration Camp Survivor, psychiatrist, and founder of Logotherapy. Logotherapy is anchored in the belief that a person’s primary motivational force is to find a sense of meaning or purpose in one's life—but the lack thereof, leaves the individual experiencing meaninglessness and may spiral downward into anxiety, depression, substance use, PTSD, and other mental health issues. With 12 years of experience and certifications in various modalities, together, our work will refocus you and your life and invigorate it with purpose and meaning. My specialty is working with individuals who have experienced trauma or are inheritors of intergenerational trauma, such as descendants of Holocaust survivors, slaves, immigrants, and refugees as well as those struggling with identity issues and addiction. Legacy Counseling provides an array of specialized services to descendants of Holocaust survivors. Viktor Frankl said, "If you cannot change the situation, then your only choice is to change yourself." Change is possible. Therapy can help you move forward. As a solution-focused, compassionate therapist, trained in EMDR, my aim is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment where that change can happen.
